OUR IMPACT
At Red Sun Digital Hub, our impact lies in empowering indigenous communities through tailored digital education and AI workshops, fostering cultural preservation, skill development, and sustainable growth while creating unique digital experiences that resonate with diverse audiences and drive meaningful engagement.
How We Measure Success
Success at Red Sun is measured by cultural integrity, participant growth, and meaningful pathways into the creative economy. We prioritize community accountability, ethical storytelling, and long-term outcomes over short-term outputs.
We measure success through:
- Indigenous youth gaining skills, confidence, and agency as creators and leaders.
- Communities seeing their stories represented ethically and authentically.
- Participants accessing education, employment, or entrepreneurial opportunities.
- Cultural protocols and community accountability guiding all work.
- Sustainable partnerships that respect Indigenous governance and values
For Red Sun, success means Indigenous peoples are not only participating in the creative economy but shaping it.
Creative Outcomes
Red Sun Digital Media Creations Hub supports the development of Indigenous-led creative work across film, media, music, and digital platforms. Through training programs, storytelling labs, and collaborative projects, participants create short films, digital content, and portfolio-ready work that reflects their lived experiences, cultural identities, and creative vision.
These creative outcomes are developed through hands-on learning, mentorship, and ethical storytelling practices, ensuring that projects uphold cultural integrity while meeting professional and industry standards. Collectively, these works contribute to increased Indigenous representation and visibility within the creative industries
Workforce Outcomes
Red Sun’s programs are designed to strengthen workforce readiness and expand access to career pathways within the creative economy. Participants gain practical skills across areas such as storytelling, production, technical media, collaboration, and professional communication, while also building confidence and industry awareness.
Through mentorship, exposure to industry environments, and connections with employers and partners, participants are better positioned to pursue further training, secure entry-level roles, contribute to productions, or explore entrepreneurial opportunities within film, media, and digital sectors.
Participant Voices
Participant voices are central to Red Sun’s work. Testimonials reflect not only skills gained, but the importance of reclaiming narrative, building confidence, and forming meaningful relationships through culturally grounded creative spaces.
Participants consistently describe their experience as transformative, highlighting opportunities to explore their creativity, learn industry-relevant skills, and see themselves represented authentically within the creative process. These voices guide program evolution and ensure Red Sun remains accountable to the people and communities it serves.

Testimonial
“This program is not just about learning
to create film, but about reclaiming our narratives and sharing our stories. We got to explore various aspects of filmmaking, from storytelling to technical skills, while highlighting the importance of representing our creative spirits in an authentic way. I also enjoyed the brief interview with Lethbridge Global and made new friends.
My passion is music and hope to someday have my music on the big screen. I wholeheartedly recommend as many Indigenous youth who are passionate about filmmaking to explore the world of film. Thank you to the organizers, Leonard Provost (Actor/Stuntman), and all the supporters for giving me an experience of a lifetime.”
